8-day Battle of Normandy Tour

Our 8 day Battle of Normandy tour explores all 5 landing beaches and provides a thorough study tour of D-Day or as we also know it: the Normandy Landings (Operation Neptune). We do not just study the first (few) day(s) of the Landings but learn about the rest of the battle which we all know as the Battle of Normandy, the costliest battle for the American forces in all conflicts before and after WWII. We visit all major sites connected to D – Day and beyond including the Normandy American Cemetery, Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Gold Beach, Juno Beach, Sword Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Pegasus Bridge, Mulberry Harbor just to name a few. On our tour we always visit the two most historical towns: Caen and Bayeux to study the battles and see a few ancient castles and cathedrals and discover both medieval and 20th century history. This all-encompassing tour features the Capital City of Ruins – St Lo, the mighty medieval town of Falaise from where we are going to explore the battlefield of the pocket and there is a day trip to Mont Saint Michel, one of the two UNESCO World Heritage sites in Normandy.
